Darurat? Don't panic!

    At 11 a.m. 12 January 2021 (Tuesday), Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had announced that Yang di-Pertuan Agong had declared States of Emergency (Darurat) as a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19 as well as worsening flood situation affecting states. Summary of Sriwijaya Air Flight SJ182 Incident

      SJ182 flight is an Indonesian domestic flight scheduled departure from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang (also known as Jakarta International Airport) to Supadio International Airport, Pontianak. On around 2:40 p.m. local time, the aircraft disappeared from the radar and reported the status of the aircraft was "free-falling" from around 10,000 ft (around 3000 meters) to the Java Sea in less than 1 minute. The incident happened 4 minutes right after took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. There was no distress call ("mayday" or "PAN-PAN") captured before the flight went lose contact. (Source: flightradar24)     Several local fishermen witnessed the incident. According to one of the local fisherman, the aircraft crashed just 14 m from his location. He stated that the aircraft exploded in the mid-air and a piece of the aircraft that was on fire fell into the sea with "shards of a kind of plywood" almost hit his ship.

First underground subway in the world

Indonesian Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182 reported lose contact after takeoff

      Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182, departure from Jakarta heading to Pontianak reported disappeared from radar shortly after take off. Indonesian Transportation Ministry spokesperson, Adita Irawati said flight SJ182 took off at about 1:56 p.m. 9 January (local time) from Jakarta and lost contact with the control tower at 2:40 p.m.     Until now (9:40 p.m.), there are still did not have any official report about the flight but believed the aircraft has crashed into Java Sea because local fishermen found several pieces of wreckage of machine, they believe it is debris from the particular aircraft. Besides that, the aircraft experienced free-fall in the speed of more than 10,000 feet per minute before lost contact. According to professionals, it is almost impossible that anyone can survive from this incident.
